When I remember my old school days, actually I never really liked learning. In school I had to learn something I was not interested in. All that boring stuffs pressured me. Could I enjoy learning and get rewarded with benefits ? How to enjoy the ride ?
I needed to accomplish tasks in a certain time-frame. Teachers forced me to write essays, or i had an exam to pass. How could i possibly enjoy the ride, always being busy with my very own topics?
Topics which definitely were not listed in any school curriculum.
After school finished, this all changed.
At Uni I picked up architecture , I always liked design , drawing and the arts.
That was definitely a right pick , leading me further to an interesting life.
I was able to define myself through my independent lifestyle. Self-employed with my own buisiness from the very beginning, I worked hard but always in a field I enjoyd to be in .
Since I always had my work and my hobbies, i could spend many hours, discovering and learning about any detail. Consequently, the line between work and hobby was never really clear though.
Since argentine Tango has become my passion back in 2001, I never stop investigating about it. Never stop taking classes, learning different styles and techniques, different approaches, investigating about the historical background and the music.
I plunched into the beautiful argentine folklore music and their dances. Thus, I even started to learn spanish.
I realized that all the different aspects in Tango offers you a huge field to discover.
And i realized too, that this story of discovering will never end. I will have all my lifetime for reserch.
In addition, like a very delightful side-effect ….I am now harvesting the fruits.
