Tango Meditation is my personal coaching method that teaches a mindful way to grow to a new together in the embrace, finally experiencing the secret of tango.
Tango meditation means holistic communication, that offers space for different attitudes of consciousness. We develop awareness for ourselves and serenity for our partner. Using a reduced technical approach, the focus lies on connection, energy flow, breathing, mindfulness to ourselves, the partner and the couple.
It involves the unification of polarities through the absolute absence of distance. It offers the opportunity for two persons to find each other in connection in order to create something new.
Tango is a mirror to our dialogue skills, based on patterns of interactions. Those patterns may result from early childhood or former life. Our patterns connect with those of our relationship partner leading to a synthesis that may either be euphoric or dramatic. Tango may function as a therapeutic solution to unwind entangled, recurring drama loops.
In my Seminar Tango Meditation new experiences are made, new insights discovered. At first we find out and determine “trigger points”. Further we discover characteristics in our personality and habits in our body language which supports those trigger points. We learn to address those adjectives by giving them a positive twist.
In an environment with awareness for poesy, music, sensuality, charity and creativity it is much easier to adapt new qualities like “respect and acceptance”.
In this way we are creating a smooth relationship, growing in our personality development and celebrate a happy life.

In this 4,5 hrs intense workshop about the essence of tango, you will achieve a soft, yet protective embrace and fleeting movements applied to the melodic and at times rhythmic vintage tango music.
The focus in the classes lies on connection to the partner and the music, therefore we will set aside complicated figures and sequences.
While discovering new perspectives of partner dancing, your stress level will be reduced, your understanding of and connection to your partner and the music improves and an approach to general consciousness will be initiated.

SESSION 1 1,5 hrs
PREPARATION – The 3 aspects of awareness
This is the preparation class. Slowly we build up awareness. This allows us to build up understanding for each other and serenity to your partner.
Warming up.
- Target: Sensibility for posture and axis.
- Practice: Basic pattern A and B without music. practice individually.
- Theory: The code and etiquette of the Milonga part 1, the art of inviting.
- Practice: Basic Pattern A and B together with a partner in hugging position
Building up awareness for your partner and serenity for yourself leads to a profound connection in the embrace.
Cognition:
- Your conception of yourself. Realize your posture, your body. Learn to understand and accept its consequences.
- Your perception of your partner. Practice to see and feel the other person.
- Your opinion about your partner’s perception of you.

SESSION 2 1,5 hrs
THE POWER OF THE EMBRACE
From a hug to an embrace, connection to your partner, take responsibility. We learn to open up our heart. The most difficult part of Tango and in real life. Allow yourself to share your energy with another person. Offer your good intention with others. Once you get used to these exercises doors open to new sensations, the secret of tango.

Encounter your partner with serenity:
- Practice: Move fluently in a line of dance, respecting the codes.
- Target: From the hug to a frontal embrace – Sensibility for connection to your partner and surrounding.
- Practice: Connection with the heart chakra, weight, positions of the head, arms and hands.

With creating serenity, consciousness for the music will grow which will result in consciousness to a magic triangle.

- Listen mindfully to the music and let the music drive you. The music is the motor which gives us the intention to move.
- The music is the connector between the dancers.
- Application to different rhythms.
