We develop awareness for ourselves and serenity for our partner. Using a reduced technical approach, the focus lies on connection, energy flow, breathing and consciousness to yourself, your partner and the couple as a unit.

Tango is meditation. 

To discover the tango bliss is an exciting aspect of the Argentine Tango. 

A soft, yet protective embrace, fleeting movement, the melodic and at times rhythmic vintage music, so calming you could almost fall asleep. Immerse in total relaxation. However, as you embrace your partner, there is a transfer of energy from each of your heart chakras. And this keeps you awake, with your heart pounding in a meditative state of bliss.


Discover the tango bliss as a remedy against stress.

I work with couples, men and women seeking an alternative way of reducing stress from their daily lives.  

Argentine Tango is one of the most creative dances, where you can discover a new hobby while you develop personal growth. Moreover, in tango meditation out aim is consciousness and serenity. Consciousness to ourselves and serenity to our partner, based on mutual appreciation. This, in turn, gives you a pathway to reduce stress and forget problems. You will discover the tango bliss and just enjoy the present moment.

​There are many beautiful, new aspects of tango when we think of tango as meditation. 


How does it work?

​It starts with a simple hug. At my classes, participants are asked to hug each other. 

You will be taught to sense the energy of the other person, to show your intention by transferring your energy to your partner. Playful yet intense. Both partners are taught to give 100% of their presence and consciousness in their specific roles. 

    • The leader senses the consequences on each step he leads and learns to take each decision with responsibility.
    • The follower learns to close her eyes and let go in devotion. Leaving all decision making to the leader, she senses intensively every move and enjoys the bliss.
  • The couple learns to control their own axis with groundedness and confidence, not using each other as support.

Further, they learn to transfer their individual axis into a shared axis, where they exist in each other, where one person cannot exist without the other one. In Tango, we develop a perception for our body, our inner-selves and that of others.  You will attain self-awareness and sensibility. In time and with practice you will be able to offer these qualities to your partner. These abilities will finally result in a state of bliss.

After my holistic tango retreat, you will return fresh and relaxed to your everyday life, happy and looking forward to the next class.

who will benefit from my teaching?

The holistic tango retreat is suitable for all single men and women as well as for couples.  My Tango Meditation classes teach you how to treat the opposite gender with respect and awareness. This insight will be beneficial for your daily life, for example at school or work, or even on the street or on the bus.

Because Tango is a social dance, in my classes we generally work with partner changes, this ensures every person gets an equal opportunity in experiencing different embraces and energies.

However, for couples who prefer to stay together during the class, we will work on experiencing the intimate embrace as a protected area. Kindly give notice on registration if you would like to stay together as couples in the class.


Tango meditation as a remedy to revive relationships.

In my holistic tango retreat, I work with couples to improve their connection.  

As a couple, you will learn new roles and reflect on the roles you play in your relationship and how you will fill these roles with life. This improves communication, responsibility, respect and emotional openness for each other.

You can start Tango Meditation at any age. Even people 70+ of age are able to discover a new unknown pleasure, which will enrich their daily routines.​

In Argentina, the people go to Milongas regularly until 80 and more years. Sometimes they can barely walk, still, they will go to dance the Tango.

Holistic Tango is a great form of exercise and to broaden your social circle.

It is proven that dancing reduces the risk of dementia. The rhythmical motion prevents the loss of the synapses. You may discover the tango bliss at any age.
